Mat Chess Membership

At Mat Chess, we pride ourselves in providing you with tons of opportunities to train!

Membership includes unlimited access to all classes and all disciplines. While most students elect to specialize in a particular martial art, we have students who come in to a variety of martial arts. Most students come in a few times per week, but we have students who come in every day — and we want nothing more than to support student enthusiasm!

We design our schedule to allow martial arts specialists to achieve the highest levels within their craft while allowing people with the busiest of schedules the opportunity to fit in their martial arts training around their other obligations.

All you need to do is come on in!

Morning Training

We design our morning classes to allow you to get in your martial arts training without interfering with the workday. They’re perfect for those wanting to train two times or more daily, as well as those with family responsibilities and work in the evenings.

Morning training has been incredibly productive — we’ve had many students compete successfully exclusively on morning training!

Evening Classes

Our evening classes are very intentionally 90 minutes or 2 hours long. We recognize that you’ve sunk lifetime costs associated with driving to the gym, showering after, washing your gear and more, and you want to maximize your progress given these lifetime costs.

We also don’t want to cut short any portion of your training. We integrate proper warm-up, technique review, new technique, positional sparring, open sparring and cooldown into each class.

Schedule Flexibility

We also recognize that not everyone can make it right on time or can stay for the full class. Please come and go as you need.

Our goal is to maximize the time you can commit, and we know that you have many things to do in life. We focus on making the most of the time you commit!
